William W. Wheeler Jr.







Former Dundalk resident William W. Wheeler Jr., 21, died May 6 in an automobile accident in Towson.

He graduated in 2001 from Dundalk High School, where he had played soccer and lacrosse, and completed computer integrated manufacturing studies at Sollers Point-Southeastern Technical High School.

He played Little Loop baseball for Dundalk-Eastfield Rec Council in his younger years and later played for Dundalk Soccer Club.

Among his other favorite pastimes were boating, fishing and watching NASCAR racing.

After high school, Mr. Wheeler moved to Pylesville in Harford County. He joined the U.S. Air Force, completed demolition training and had been stationed for a time in Oman in the Middle East.

In addition to his wife, Rebecca (nee Karbley), he is survived by mother Laura W. Wheeler of Dundalk, father William W. Wheeler Sr. and stepmother Sharon Wheeler of Pylesville, sister Mary E. Wheeler, stepsisters Amy L. Lewetzki and Annamarie V. Karbley and many other family members.

A memorial service was held May 10 at Evans Funeral Chapel in Bel Air.
